Method 5: Disable Overlay and Cloud

On Steam

Step 1: Open Steam and go to Games. Then, right-click Rainbow Six Siege and select Properties.

Step 2: Now, click the in-game tab, then uncheck the Enable the Steam overlay while in-game box.

Step 3: Go to the UPDATES tab and uncheck the Enable Steam Cloud synchronization for Rainbow Six Siege box.

STEP 1- Make sure that you have close the game completely

STEP 1- Launch Steam and head to the Game Librar

STEP 2- In the game library, locate and right-click on Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Seige

STEP 3- In the Properties window head to the Local Files tab

STEP 4- Below you will find a button to verify the integrity of game files, click on it

STEP 5- Let the process complete, once done try launching the game and hopefully, the issue will be gone

Method 7- Update graphics driver

Step 1: Boot into Safe mode. Type “devmgmt.msc” in the dialogue box and press Enter. Here navigate to Display Adapters, right-click on your adapter and select Uninstall Device

Step 2: Press Windows + R, type “devmgmt.msc” in the dialogue box and press Enter.

Step 3: Select “Scan for hardware changes”. Check if the game works without any problems.

Step 4: Right-click on your hardware and select “Update driver”.

Step 5: Select the first option “Search automatically for updated driver software”.

Step 6: Choose the second option if you are updating manually and select “Browse for driver” and navigate to the location where you downloaded.

Step 7: Restart your computer after installing the drivers.
