How to access TikToK?
You can currently access TikTok both on Android and Apple smartphones. You will need to install the app by visiting the appropriate app store for your device. The TikTok app is available on more than 30 different languages so it’s very likely that your language is supported. Once you’ve installed the app you will have to sign-up for an account either by connecting to Facebook, Instagram or Twitter. Alternatively, you can sign up with just an email address and password. Once signed up you’ll have access to all the TikTok features. You’ll be able to publish videos, comments on other’s video clips, search for users and much more.

Presently, TikTok doesn’t have a web version of their app however there are third-party websites that allow you to view TikTok videos online. These third-party apps let you view videos, browse for users and hashtags, and even view comments. Alternatively, you can access the official TikTok website where you are able to view trending videos but that’s just about all you can do.
Who is TikTok For?
TikTok is primarily an app geared toward teens and young people. In the Android and Apple app store, it is rated as being for ages 12 and up. The ratings may be different in your country so it’s best you visit the app store to see what it’s rated for you. Teens particularly love using the app to share lip-sync videos. Once you’ve recorded the video you can add a bunch of fun effects to them right in the TikTok app. Filters, stickers, slow-motion, time-lapse; the possibilities seem to be endless with this app. When you’re happy with the video you’ve created you can share it with your followers or publish it on your other social networking channels like Facebook, Instagram or Twitter.
Aside from posting the default video option, you can also post TikTok Duets. TikTok duets are fun, short video clips which allow users to post a side by side video. This allows users to partner up and duet to their favorite tune or even allows you to duet with your self. I’ve seen many parents duet with their children which I think is a perfect fit for this post type.
